  • Day Shift to commence ASAP 6am - 2pm Monday - Friday
  • Pay rate of $50ph (including casual loading)


Programmed are currently seeking a reliable qualified Bricklayer to join their client in Wollert who specialize in the manufacturing and distribution of Bricks.


Successful applications must be reliable and have a Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying, and be available 6am - 2pm Monday - Friday (Long-term).

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain clean and tidy work area including kiln car repair area and kiln car cleaners
  • Concrete Screeding, String lining, and concrete pours
  • Perform daily routine inspections and maintenance of all available kiln cars.
  • Inspect Kiln Cars for any damaged sustained to metal frame and skirts, and repair any damage found.
  • Work as part of a team to complete full car re-builds, including the following tasks: Stripping of old materials
  • Install blocks to manufacturer’s recommendations
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks and general labouring duties / manual handling

Skills / abilities required:

  • Must have a Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying - Apprenticeship CPC33020
  • Must be comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
  • Adequate skill in keeping organized to ensure supplies are replaced when running low.
  • Sound problem-solving skills.
  • Adequate skill in prioritizing tasks.
  • Sound ability to perform housekeeping and routine cleaning of working area.
  • Sound ability to read and understand schematic drawings, plans and specifications.
  • Ability to lift 20kg-30kg.
  • Must pass a medical assessment Prior to commencement
  • Must be available Monday - Friday for day shift (6am - 2pm) long-term
